If you take the 10.86km and you turn it into miles then that's pretty much six and three quarters which is so much nicer?

Glad you've found out you love running.

And it's clear you like cycling

So now we just have to work on swimming :-)

You're right, 10.86 km, it doesn't have a nice ring to it. You can't say 10.86 k'er but an 11 k'er says it all.

ooh I need a shoulder holster with detachable gun or at least a cattle prod - how cool would that be?
I wonder if Nike would develop one.

I too am so grateful for the lighter evenings. When do the clocks go forward? Soon isn't it?
Definitely an OCD;) I have done the exact same thing on more than one occasion. Cycling to the end of the road and back again and again until it has rounded off. My regular route (via RP) keeps coming to 17.something and I think I am going to start rounding it off to 18 now I know there are others doing it;) Soon it will become 20!

I've got a personal alarm that straps onto my arm. It doesn't have a detachable gun, but it does make me feel marginally safer when running along isolated canals.

You'll have to run around the block at the end of your run to bring it up to 11km. I agree with you, you need nice round numbers.

Mighty fine effort by the way - you rock! OK so the challenge is set, I'll have to see if I can last 10.87km now!!! But I'm not quite up to that distance on a regular basis, so by the time I run it, you'll have moved onto bigger and better things. Hmmm...... you've been exercising very hard lately, why don't you take a few days off. A week or so.

nah - you deserve to stay in front of me!!! Well done!!!!!
