Stratford Sprint Tri – Results

by warriorwoman on 14 May, 2007

The official results are up now, so my gadget catastrophe didn’t matter too much in the end.

I’m not familiar with the way triathlon results are recorded but I’m assuming they include the transition time immediately after each event. It’s quite an achievement to capture everyones stage results without the use of the timing chips, but then the organisation for the whole event was exemplary. Certainly one to recommend!

These stats are all very well but where’s the important stuff like the pic of the t-shirt? :-)

How good were you on the bike!!!!!! BTW I am VERY pleased to see you did not come last – nor was there even any threat of you coming last. Take at close look at that 5km time too! Man, that’s at the END of two other legs!!! Crikey, you were so close to 7 min/k’s!! Truly inspirational!

That was a fantastic cycle leg, Angela. No wonder the tarmac was still smouldering as I drove home later on …

Congratulations on your excellent swim and run times, too. And it was certainly much bumpier and muddier than Bushy Park.

What a gem of a blog this is!
Arrived via Roads Of Stone – most grateful Roads. Some great stuff here . . . all I need is a few days and nights to catch up on it all.

Congrats on a first Triathalon . . . not tried one meself but you make it sound like fun.

Cheers, Sweder
