I ran with Dean on one of the 50 marathons. person to person, he is a very personable engaging man. and if you send him an email, you will get a personal response from him within a day. regardless of how he appears from afar, he’s genuine. as a runner of 25 years, I found motivation to run more from him.

I’m loving the advice and offers of hospitality, I envisage lots of multi-directional runs in my future.

Interesting idea but I’m not sure I like the idea of the journey home – getting cold in sweaty running clothes.

I followed the Dean Karnazes blog when he was running all those marathons and I have to admit I started to get a bit bored even then. I mean he’s a machine and all that but perhaps he’s just wanting to make a buck.

I look forward to hearing about the running in one direction until you can’t. Kind of too unplanned for my liking. What if you end up out bush or something???

Its about 150 miles to Nottingham – when you do a run heading north – when should I expect you?
