plagued by troubles all running life related to short itb (heel, then hip and finally knee). been running with the free 3.0s for the last 6 months to transition to mid / fore foot. PBs have fallen dramatically and after a few minor adjustments to my gait, am now comfortably running half marathons on these - abs love them.

Interesting.. I'm doing the same thing.. running everything except my long runs in my five fingers and doing my LRs in my big clunkers.. I've been looking for an intermediary to help the transition. I'll check out the links and give the free 3.0s a good look. Thanks!
