I couldn’t sleep last night so quit counting sheep and headed to the treadmill. Good job I did, I woke this morning with a crippling headache and couldn’t function all day, never mind run.
Back to the wee hours of last night.
I’m still dabbling with the treadmill profiles but this time I’m creating my own. I opted for the High intensity routine popularised by the body for life program. It’s effectively a pyramid session or 4 pyramid sessions ramping from exertion level 5 to 9.
I didn’t get my perceived exertion levels right and was still relatively composed after 20 mins. I’ve amended it now though and should hopefully be shattered after my next attempt.
